Description
Most groupware systems on the market today seem to have problems with centrally updating calendar entries - This is also a challenge in GroupWise. However IT Quality have solved this problem with easycalendar®.
Easycalendar® solves several issues for the company’s IT administration, for example Bank Holiday updates distributed directly via the GroupWise servers. It is now possible to enter events such as Christmas and New Years Eve once and for all and automatically get these events integrated into every chosen users calendars. When a new employee starts working for the organization or a new user is added, she/he automatically receive the base “calendar template” that the administrator has designed.
Easycalendar® will also be able to distribute special corporate events, meetings etc. The events can be entered into the templates well ahead of schedule and you can choose to have different events distributed to different containers. For example, the sales department could have common sales events and the production department could have production meetings.
How does it work?
You create one or more Calendar Master users in GroupWise, then enter the events into the calendar of the Calendar Master (e.g. there are different bank holidays in different countries). Easycalendar® will automatically distribute the appointments to all users that have not been excluded. Cancelled or changed schedules will also be distributed and either deleted or updated. This happens without the users getting notification, and without the need or possibility for the user to accept the appointments.
The product is a pure back-end solution, easycalendar® does not need to install any software on the users PCs, that means the calendars will get updated regardless of whether you use Webaccess, Linux or Windowsplatforms. The program uses GroupWise 6.5’s trusted applications, and does not require changes on the users PCs.
Which users receive updates?
Currently there are two different scenarios
1: You chose which eDirectory containers (for example the BRAZIL container), and chose which users in the container(s) is NOT to receive the updates. The distribution of appointments is based on eDirectory locations, and therefore the organizations eDirectory design is the basis for the distributions, like Country, Division etc.
2: You chose eDirectory Group(s) or Dynamic Group(s), and members of the group(s) will receive the updates. This can be very useful in some environments. There is also an option to exclude specific members of those groups if necessary.

Easycalendar® LITE version
We have introduced easycalendar® LITE, which have all the features mentioned above but only with 2 Master Calendar Templates available. F.ex. you will be able to make one calendar with Hollydays and one event. There is just one user price, type in the amount of users you want.
Just press your license level, and you are ready to go! Your license number will be emailed to you after your credit card payment is processed. (Normally 24-48 hours)
Easycalendar® Full Academic/Educational Version
Academic/Educational licenses pricing is available. Currently this means a discount of 70% from the FULL VERSION prices for academic/Educational institutions ONLY. You will need to contact us by e-mail or phone to get the discount.
Only the allowed user limit can use the programme due to general license policies. This means if you have bought only 150 users easycalendar®but you actually have 200 users, the product will only work on the first 150 users (sorted A-Z).
25 user licenses is the minimum you can buy at any onetime.

Support and upgrade protection
Buying easycalendar® you will receive free support and upgrade protection the first year. After this year it is possible to buy an upgrade protection and support for 15 % of the price you paid for easycalendar®. This will give you upgrade protection and support for 1 year.
